Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Italy Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of Italy's leading navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform showcased diverse trends in downloads and user activity. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a closer look at how each app fared during this period.

Google Maps maintained robust user engagement, with weekly active users hovering around 8.7M, although witnessing a slight decline to approximately 8.4M by the quarter's end. Downloads peaked mid-July at about 47.8K, before settling to around 35.7K by late September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its downloads reach a high of 27.9K in mid-August. However, towards the end of the quarter, downloads decreased to around 13.1K. The app's weekly active users initially rose to 837K in early August but tapered off to roughly 745K by the end of September.

Google Earth experienced a steady download rate, initially around 11.4K, which slightly decreased to approximately 9.4K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 87.5K and ending at about 77.9K.
